Alpha Brain Review

Alpha Brain Reviewed
Nootropics have been exploding in popularity recently, but are still widely unknown.

Nootropics, also known as “brain pills or smart drugs,” are drugs used to improve cognitive performance, including aspects such as memory, creativity, and motivation. Alpha Brain is the smart drug made by Onnit Labs which touts all of these capabilities. Going a step further, it has also been shown to improve sleeping, as many subjects have reported experiences with “lucid dreaming.”

Lucid dreams are where you are aware that you are dreaming, which allows you to control.. Well, everything. People love the idea of lucid dreaming, and it’s just another reason that Alpha Brain has skyrocketed in popularity.

However, it seems that the biggest reason that Alpha Brain has increased in popularity is that popular figure Joe Rogan, who is a UFC announcer and comedian (among other things), has been a strong advocate for this product. He speaks very highly of it, so I wanted to give my own review on the product, to help you see if it’s the right fit for you.

What Is Alpha Brain

To start, let’s talk about the benefits Alpha Brain is advertised as being able to produce.

Alpha Brain has been shown in studies to improve memory, processing speed, and focus. It also has been shown to improve your dream state, and has specific directions for when to take the pills in order to experience these effects.

Another aspect that makes Alpha Brain trustworthy in the first place is the fact that it is made from Earth-grown nutrients. These nutrients are:

  • Bacopa Monniera: This is an herb that has been used in medical systems in India. It has been shown to improve memory and longevity.
  • Cat’s Claw: This plant has many benefits (on top of having a pretty freakin’ cool name). This plant is found in the Amazon rainforest, and is used by cultures for its immune-boosting properties. It contains antioxidants that help support and regulate the immune system, leading to a healthier body.
  • Huperzia Serrata: This contains Huperzine A, which is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. This means that it prevents the enzyme Acetylcholinesterase from breaking down Acetylcholine, which allows more of it to be available to the brain. Acetylcholine has many effects on various parts of the body, but it is most known for increasing your attention and response to things around you.
  • Oat Straw: Oat straw relieves stress and exhaustion, which is important because these two factors cause negative responses from neurotransmitters, leading to a negative impact in cognitive performance. By preventing this from occurring, you are allowing your body to stay in a positive state of cognitive performance.

And that’s it. Alpha Brain’s formula is simple, direct, and effective (with respects). So, lets talk a bit more about my personal experience reviewing Alpha Brain.

Invisible Memory Effects

Simply put, I didn’t experience much difference from Alpha Brain as far as cognitive performance goes, besides maybe one day.

Now, it is important to note, that I do take good care of my body, and do consider myself a very active individual. This contributes to my mental health as well, which (I assume) is in good condition.

I wanted to say this because if you are an individual who doesn’t have any cognitive issues or problems, you may not notice a difference in this area. This of course makes sense; if you are already performing at a high-level, it is hard to notice an increase through supplements.

Is This A Dream?

Now this is where Alpha Brain REALLY surprised me.

I wanted to experience the cognitive effects of the product before the sleeping effects. While I knew that I could definitely use some help with sleeping habits, I don’t exactly struggle in that area either.

However, Alpha Brain exceeded my expectations in this area.

On the nights I used Alpha Brain, my sleeping improved massively. Like I said, I don’t have exactly have major troubles here, but it covered all of my weaknesses. No longer did I wake up a few times during the night, nor did I feel fatigued upon waking.

I felt like I was in much deeper sleep. And as far as lucid dreaming goes, while I didn’t experience it every night, I did lucid dream 2 times. A lot of people love the idea of lucid dreaming, and if you are one of them, then you can take comfort in knowing that this product definitely works.

Final Thoughts While Reviewing Alpha Brain

Alpha Brain isn’t designed to hit you like a pre-workout. The changes should be subtle, but noticeable when it comes to cognitive performance. If you are expecting a major difference, you are most likely going to end up disappointed.

However, I do believe that Alpha Brain is a product worth trying. The sleep benefits alone are worth the cost if that is an area you are struggling with.

And while testing for differences is hard with a product like this, due to no obvious differences, you should try it for yourself. This way, you can gauge on whether or not you feel more alert and focused, and whether the product is worth a shot. If not, then move on. But do try Alpha Brain for both its sleeping and cognitive effects. Chances are, at least one of those areas will be improved.

  1. Is this review for the new or old Alpha Brain formula?

  2. The newest Alpha Brain formula. Have you tried it?

  3. Alpha brain is pretty good. I have been using it for a couple months now. For all the haters out there or people who say it doesnt work… I just think your expectations are off. Your not going to notice a 30% increase in focus. But 30% increase on a test would be dramatic. IMO

  4. Ya I like Alpha Brain. Im looking for something a bit stronger though. Thanks for the review.
